Accenture QCenter

My journey begins in Venezuela, on Saturday April 01. I traveled from Maiquetia Simón Bolívar Airpot to Houston International Airport, a 4 hour flight. Houston's Airport is amazinling big. It has a lot of mini-stores, libraries, CD's Store, Food Stores, iPod Gadget Stores, among others. I had to walk about 30 minutes to go from gate A12 to E8, it was great workout though.
After 45 minutes taxi drive I arrived to Saint Charles Q Center Facilities. Upon checking in at the lobby and getting my room asigned, number C243, I tried to located my home-to-be for the next week. It was located far away from the lobby (10 min walk). And for my surprise it was smaller that I could imagine.
It was late at night, the dinning room was closed and the weather was not great, so I decided to go to bed and hope for the weather to improve on Sunday. The next morning I had an excelent breakfast at the dinning room (it had great food all the week long - congratulations to the chefs). After that I decided to go to the Charlestown Mall to see the sourronding areas. I tried to go downtown but the weather didn't improved at all. In the morning news the weather guy told that the night before orange sized hail falled down in Illinois State near Chicago.Sunday Afternoon I took this photos of the Qcenter for memory of my journey.

Since I'm always striving to improve my night photo technique, I took this serie of photos of the Q Center Facilities on thursday Night right before Night Fall. The weather improved tremendously that night. I was a cold night but great colors were in the sky. I couldn't get here earlier becouse of the course however I hope you enjoy them.
The Core Consultant Course was good, I meet a lot of people from all over the world. My working group was a mix of consultants from Chicago, Atlanta, Mexico, New York and myself from Venezuela. It was the best working group in the section. The faculties (teachers) were from Italy and Ireland. We had a great time during the week, lots of work but also lot of laughs. After the course was done Friday april 07 , I went to Chicago to spend the weekend with friends from my hometown University (Universidad Simón Bolivar). You can find the photos of that here Chicago Greatest Landscapes and the trip here The Windy City
